I am going to apologize right now for each of my photos being a different size, I have been wanting to have larger photos on this site and it is just taking a bit longer than I have wanted to figure it all out!
These next few pictures are some treasures I found while on our Christmas Break.
Lately I have been drawn to color, I love lots of colors! If I saw a rainbow I would be tickled! While Christmas shopping for my boys, and my sister's boys I found these cutie patootie M&M tin containers with M&Ms inside, while I had at first only intended to shoot the containers, I had to get a shot of the candies by themselves. I found myself in love with the many colors of M&Ms, although a bit more dull than skittles, they still have a plethora of wonderful colors.
I must say I do not know how this picture got so small. In Canada we 'celebrate' the day after Christmas, it is called Boxing Day, it is much like Black Friday after Thanksgiving here in the USA. There are 'mega' sales and people freeze out in the cold at 3:00 in the morning! Although I did not go shopping this year, my little family started a new tradition, each of us will receive a new book on Boxing Day, C LOVED his book!
This past November my mother in-love's mom passed away... every year her mother held a beautiful dinner for her entire family. As apart of tradition a popper would be on each plate and on her count of three we would all POP ours and wear our hats through dinner and tell each other our jokes. She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed
I know that Egg Nog can be quite the controversial subject, either you love it or hate it. I happen to be in the group of loving Egg Nog, and although it has a million calories per half glass, it is one of my favorite treats at Christmas time.
Every time I see this picture I want to go and get some A&W Root beer in a frosted mug, no joke! It can't be diet root beer, for some reason without the sugar the ice doesn't form on the top.
While in Canada we found the COOLEST gum I have ever seen! Excel gum is soley a Canadian brand of gum, and as a sponsor of the Olympics this year (which are being held in BC) they put little maple leafs on their gum pieces! Cool Beans I tell ya!
